Dr. Alia Z. Hussain, MD
After residency and chief residency at NYU Winthrop Hospital in Long Island, New York, Dr. Hussain ran a busy solo pediatric practice in Jackson, Mississippi. For almost a decade she has cared for children in The Woodlands area — from newborns to teens.
She chose direct pediatric care so she could spend real time with families and give them the care they truly deserve. She lives in Creekside with her three children, is a passionate breastfeeding advocate, and brings years of developmental pediatrics experience, including autism evaluations.
Her approach is holistic and family-centered — physical, mental and emotional wellbeing, together.

What is direct pediatric care?+
You pay the practice directly through a flat membership instead of routing every visit through insurance. That removes the billing pressure to see 30 patients a day, so visits are longer and your doctor is reachable.
Do I still need insurance?+
Most families keep a plan for hospital care, specialists and emergencies. Membership covers your pediatric care with us, and labs, imaging and vaccines are offered at low cash prices.
How quickly can my child be seen?+
Same day, nearly always. There is no waiting room because there is no waiting — appointments are scheduled so families do not overlap.
Do you really come to our home for newborns?+
Yes. Newborn home visits are included, so you can recover and settle in without packing up a days-old baby for the car.
